Built with a focus on ease of use and safety, this 55-footer ensures a comfortable cruising experience while prioritizing owner operability. With her long waterline and modest beam, Starship delivers a stable and pleasant sailing motion in various conditions. Her centerboards provide a minimum draft of 3'8" for access to shallow destinations, while a maximum draft of 9'2" enhances her upwind performance. Designed for practicality, these centerboards are line-controlled for easy retraction in case of grounding, minimizing potential damage. Equipped with 2024 North Sails 3di Endurance Mainsail, a Black 2024 North Sails Helix Code 55 on Electric Furler, and a 2025 North Sails Self-tacking 95% Jib, also in 3di Endurance, along with a Marstrom Carbon Mast & Boom. Starship also boasts a full suite of reliable North Sails and dependable Yanmar engines, complemented by 1,500 watts of solar power and air conditioning for comfort.
