Recently maintained in 2023, she boasts new downwind sails, a water maker, fresh batteries, and spacious hatches. A comprehensive 5-year rig service has been completed, with the standing rigging inspected in Europe. This fall, she will undergo a 6-month yard period with thorough servicing of her hydraulics, systems, and rigging. Cui Bono has demonstrated her capability as an exceptional live-aboard during extended adventures across New England, the Caribbean, The Bahamas, and New Zealand. With a minimum draft of just 3.5 ft, navigating and anchoring in shallow waters is a breeze. Hosting friends and family is a delight, thanks to her expansive aft deck lounge, open dining area, and four roomy guest cabins. Sailors fondly share tales of enjoying brunch and cocktails while cruising at 20 knots! The yacht can effortlessly transition into delivery or regatta mode, achieving 260-mile days with ease. In calm conditions, her twin 55HP Yanmar engines provide a comfortable cruising speed of 8.5 knots. Overnight deliveries can be managed by just two people, although four is ideal for longer offshore journeys. A unique aspect of Cui Bono is her easy maintenance, allowing for one person to manage her while she is not in use. When sailing, a crew of two is recommended. Continuous upgrades and maintenance not only boost her performance but also ensure she is completely safe and ready for offshore adventures. Currently, she is undergoing maintenance, including rig servicing, in Newport, RI, and may relocate to Savannah, GA for the remainder of the winter.
