R'Liberty is a stunning representation of the Tartan 3700, designed by the renowned Tim Jackett. Tartan is celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship, sailing performance, and seaworthiness. Launched in 2000, this model improved upon its predecessor, the 3800, by providing increased interior space and extending its 12' 6" beam further aft for enhanced stability in bluewater conditions. Throughout its production, 160 units were meticulously built to high standards. R'Liberty spent much of its life on the Great Lakes before navigating the East Coast, Florida, and the Bahamas, where its 4'10" draft proves advantageous in shallower waters. Under current ownership, the boat has received numerous upgrades, including: new standing rigging (2024), new Mack sails (2024), a fresh Awlgrip paint job (2026), new bottom paint (2026), updated Raymarine Axiom Pro 12 electronics (2025), an Aqua Maxx watermaker (installed by the previous owner but never used), new lithium batteries (2022), new solar panels (2022), and a new Highfield 10' hard-bottom dinghy (excluded but negotiable) along with a 15 hp Suzuki outboard motor (excluded but negotiable).
