Introducing the esteemed Robert Perry Blue Water Cruiser, the Perry 41. This sturdy Taiwanese vessel, designed by renowned naval architect Robert Perry, embodies strength and reliability. The Viking Girl features a hull design akin to the Valiant 40, featuring an encapsulated long fin and a skeg-hung rudder, while avoiding the canoe stern. Inside, you'll find a luxurious solid teak interior, free from veneers, complemented by two private staterooms, a head, and a separate shower stall. The original Perkins diesel engine was upgraded in 1998 to a Yanmar 50 hp with a sail drive, which has been lightly used with only 575 hours. The sail drive unit was replaced in 2019. Over the last decade, Viking Girl has received numerous upgrades and has successfully completed several South Pacific cruises. She was transported from California to Florida in 2022 and has seen minimal use since arriving in Pensacola. Noteworthy features include: Yanmar 50hp Diesel with saildrive (engine replaced in 1998, saildrive replaced in 2019, only 575 hours), solid teak interior, 2023 B&G electronics, reconditioned and repainted mast, replaced standing rigging, refinished teak decks, and a hull painted with Awlgrip in 2014. The fuel tank was also replaced in 2023.
