This Island Packet 35, designed by Bob Johnson, is a highly sought-after mid-sized cruiser, perfect for both circumnavigating the globe and island hopping in the Bahamas or Caribbean. Recently serviced in May 2025, it features a fresh anti-fouling bottom job, wet sanded and buffed hull sides, a new shaft and cutlass bearing, and a new dripless shaft seal. The vessel is equipped with a new black water poly holding tank, heat exchanger flush, oil and fuel filter changes, and new strainers for the engine and AC. A professional rig inspection was also conducted. The boat boasts a keel stepped mast, a modified full keel with a skeg hung rudder supported by an IP snow shoe. Inside, you'll find an excellent layout with three comfortable berths, one head, a spacious galley, and a large cockpit with ample storage. Upgrades include replaced chain plates, roller furling staysail and genoa, a battened mainsail with two reef points, and a Tides Marine strong track along the mast. The 2021 lazy jacks and stack pack, along with a spinnaker, enhance sailing efficiency. The galley is equipped with a Cusimax conduction 2-burner stove and dual voltage Isotherm fridges, one front-loading and one top-loading (new in 2024). Comfort features include a 2019 Dometic DTU-16 BTU reverse cycle air conditioner and a Jabsco electric toilet. Navigation is made easy with a Raymarine hybrid touch GPS chartplotter and a 2019 EV-100 wheel pilot. Enjoy grilling on the stern rail with a Magma grill, and benefit from the convenience of dinghy davits and a custom boat cover over the deck and companionway. The bimini top was replaced and side canvas added in 2021. The boat also has a new prop shaft, coupler, stuffing box, cutlass bearing, exhaust elbow and hose (all replaced in 2018), and all thru-hull fittings have been updated. Power is supplied by two AGM batteries (2021) and the vessel is anchored with a Rocna 25 kg (55 lb) anchor, managed by a Maxwell windlass, and comes with dock lines and fenders.
