History: Ayesha, a stunning yawl designed by Philip B Rhodes, was crafted by Henry B. Nevins, Inc. in City Island, NY, in 1932. The current owner has cherished her for over 25 years, ensuring she receives exceptional care from renowned facilities including Rockland Marine, Cutts and Case in Oxford, MD, and Campbells/Hinckley Bachelors Point. Condition: As you approach Ayesha, her graceful lines and impeccable care are evident. She has been wintered under cover in a wet slip, with her spars and rigging securely stored. The teak decks, sheer timbers, and deck supports have been replaced as needed, and her bottom was re-fastened and caulked in 2024. A brand new 4JH4AE Yanmar diesel engine was installed in 2007 and serviced in 2024. The interior has received new ivory cushions with blue piping in 2024, while the sails are in excellent condition and ready for cruising. The cockpit cushions and sail covers are fresh, and she features a manual anchor windlass with both chain and rope drums. SAILS: A full batten Evolution mainsail with a Dutchman sail flaking system, a 110% headsail on a furler, and a self-tacking stay sail on a boom Mizzen. INTERIOR: The interior boasts a beautiful traditional design, complete with custom ivory cushions and blue piping in 2024. Amenities include hot and cold pressure water with a shower, a manual marine head with a fold-down basin, a telephone shower, a bosun's locker, and a crew cabin accessible from the bow hatch. Diesel heating adds comfort during cooler outings. Electrical/Electronics: Equipped with a 30 amp shore panel alongside an updated dedicated 12DC panel, a dual 12V battery system, inverter/charger, VHF radio, Furuno wind instruments, a cockpit-mounted Furuno plotter, AIS, radar, and Furuno depth sounder. GALLEY: Features a Force10 2-burner propane stove, a large sink, and two front-loading ice boxes.
