Introducing the Azimut 45, a Boat Show Special that combines exceptional design with advanced technology. Its hull has received RINA approval (EC category B), ensuring top-notch structural integrity. Utilizing innovative infusion techniques, both the hull and superstructures—including the deck, deckhouse, and flybridge—are crafted for reduced weight and enhanced quality control. Structural trays in the bow and engine room are made through infusion, employing modern adhesives for superior durability. The boat features fiberglass made from multiaxial fabric with a powder binder, complemented by neopentilic and isophtalic spray gelcoat finishes. PVC foam is integrated into the sandwich panels for added strength, while the engine room and bow have reinforced bulkheads made from PVC-infused sandwich material. Rigorous FEM analysis ensures the hull’s structural calculations meet high safety standards, simulating performance under extreme conditions akin to aerospace and automotive engineering. The hull's internal layers are constructed from DCPD resin, while the external layers use vinylester resins for enhanced resistance to osmosis and staining. Recently upgraded, this boat now boasts new bottom paint and Propspeed, fresh carpeting in the cabin, completed 1000-hour service on engines and generator, new underwater lights, and a new AC unit for the main saloon.
