The latest addition to Viking's lineup, the 54 Open, will join the 54 Convertible as another highly successful model since its debut at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where it earned the Best of Show Award. Fusing a proven hull design with innovative topside configurations, the 54 Open represents Viking's largest ever production of Express-style yachts. It features a sleek profile with an aggressive entry, raked stem, one-piece wraparound windshield, Palm Beach Towers hardtop, and Tuna Tower, making it an ideal choice for both fishing and luxury cruising. Additionally, the 54 Open can be delivered as a sleek Express yacht without the Tuna Tower. All three variants - Open, Sport Coupe, and Sport Tower - share the same Cockpit and Command Deck layout, optimized for fishing, diving, cruising, and entertaining. The Cockpit offers 154 square feet of space, complete with twin Mezzanine seating, coolers, fish and storage boxes, live well, and a transom door with lift gate. The Command Deck, with its open aft bulkhead, allows for easy access to the Cockpit. The centerline Helm, elevated on a platform, offers excellent visibility and is accompanied by port and starboard companion seating. The sleek Helm design features three flush-mounted multi-function displays, electronic controls, and a large radio box for operational controls. The spacious interior of the 54 Open, with its 17 ft.8 in. beam, boasts a choice of two-Stateroom or three-Stateroom layouts. The two-Stateroom layout also offers a private access Head to the guest Stateroom, while the three-Stateroom layout shares a Head. The Galley, located midship on the starboard side, features premium appliances and walnut cabinetry, while the opposite side offers lounge seating with a table. Other luxury amenities include Amtico flooring in the Salon, Galley, and dinette, as well as plush carpeting in the Staterooms. The Engine Room, accessed through lift-up steps on the Mezzanine, houses the MAN V12 1400CRM engines, with Optimus Electronic Power Steering, high-speed rudders, and electronic controls for top-notch performance, comfort, and range. The Engine Room is designed with Viking's trademark engineering for easy access and serviceability, and includes a Delta-T ventilation system, oil changing system, and fire suppression system.
