The M42 is a sophisticated evolution of the successful M36, maintaining the elegant simplicity and ease of single-handed sailing while introducing standing headroom and enhanced amenities ideal for coastal cruising. With a spacious cockpit and open interior, BOADICEA comfortably accommodates friends and family for day trips. She features a fully-equipped galley, head and shower, a master berth, and two single berths, making her an excellent choice for couples or small families seeking overnight adventures. Designed by the renowned Sparkman & Stephens and built with heirloom-quality craftsmanship by Morris Yachts, BOADICEA boasts timeless appeal that transcends generations. Originally commissioned by a seasoned yachtsman transitioning from an M36, she underwent extensive customization during her construction. Over the years, she has been meticulously maintained, with recent upgrades including a new Leisurefurl boom (2024), new North full batten mainsail (2024), new house batteries (2023), and a new Mastervolt inverter/charger (2023). The exterior brightwork has been recently refurbished (spring 2026), and she is equipped with a new B&G chartplotter and radar (2024). Currently housed in a heated facility at Great Island Boat Yard, BOADICEA is preparing for her spring launch and is readily available for viewing. Note that while the photos are older, they accurately represent her current condition, except for the recently added Leisurefurl furling boom, with updated photos to come after her launch in May.
