Boat Description

The history of Feeling Yachts dates back to 1912, when the Kirié shipyard was established by the Kirié family in a modest garage on Rue de la Forêt in Sables d'Olonne. Initially focused on crafting small sailing boats, the shipyard shifted its production to speed boats in the 1950s and expanded to Château d'Olonne in the late '60s, becoming one of the pioneers in using polyester. In the early '80s, they introduced the 'Feeling' line of habitable power cruisers, which gained acclaim when the 13.5m Feeling triumphed in the Route du Rhum in 1986, and the 10.9m Feeling was named 'Boat of the Year' in 1987. After Kirié was acquired by Alliaura Marine in 2000, the Feeling brand became part of Privilège Marine Groupe in 2010. Although Feeling boats are no longer in production, Privilège continues to excel in catamarans. The Feeling 546, designed by Ron Holland and Andrew Winch, is a fast sea-going cutter constructed from fiberglass. Its superior build quality, ample fresh water and fuel storage, along with impressive living and storage space, make the Feeling 546 an ideal sailboat for year-round living and global adventures. The spacious cockpit, featuring twin steering stations, ensures comfort whether you're anchored or at sea. Our offering, TENACIOUS, is the last 546 ever built, originally intended for the personal use of the Kirié shipyard owner. Now in the hands of her third owner, she has seen significant upgrades, which are detailed in the listing. Ready for a new chapter, her current owner is parting with the boat that has been both a home and a trusty companion for many years. TENACIOUS is a robust vessel, designed to keep you safe at sea. Her impressive fit and finish showcase her sturdy construction, making her equipped for any journey, all at a reasonable price for her size. Whether docked or underway, she offers a roomy sanctuary, eagerly waiting to take her next caretakers wherever their dreams lead. Contact us today to schedule a viewing before she sails away!
