Boat Description

The story of Feeling Yachts dates back to 1912 when the Kirié shipyard was established by the Kirié family in a modest garage on Rue de la Forêt in Sables d'Olonne. Initially focused on crafting small sailing boats, the shipyard shifted its emphasis to speed boats in the 1950s. By the late '60s, it had expanded and relocated to Château d'Olonne, becoming a pioneer in polyester construction. In the early '80s, Kirié introduced the 'Feeling' line of habitable power cruisers, with the 13.5m Feeling winning the Route du Rhum in 1986 and the 10.9m Feeling being named 'Boat of the Year' in 1987. In 2000, Alliaura Marine acquired the Kirié shipyard, and by 2010, Feeling was under the ownership of Privilège Marine Groupe. Although the Feeling boats are no longer in production, Privilège Marine continues to be renowned for its catamaran range. The Feeling 546, designed by Ron Holland and Andrew Winch, is a fast sea-going cutter constructed from fiberglass. Its exceptional build quality, along with ample fresh water and fuel storage, electricity generation, and generous living and storage spaces, make it an ideal sailboat for year-round living and global exploration. The spacious cockpit, equipped with twin steering stations, ensures comfort whether anchored or sailing. Our listing, TENACIOUS, is the final 546 ever built and was originally owned by the owner of the Kirié Shipyard. Now in the hands of her third owner, significant upgrades have been made, detailed in the listing. As he embarks on new adventures, he has decided to part with this beloved vessel that has been his home and provided safe journeys for many years. TENACIOUS is a robust boat designed for the open sea, offering protection and confidence. With impressive fit and finish, her sturdy construction is evident throughout. She is well-equipped for any destination and offers great value for her size. Whether at the dock or on the move, she serves as a spacious home, ready to take her next caretakers on their dream voyages. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see her—call today to schedule a viewing before she's gone!
