Introducing the F/V "MISS IVY," a quintessential shrimp trawler designed for the Gulf of Mexico. The propulsion system consists of a powerful 402HP CATERPILLAR V-8 diesel engine, complete with a TWIN DISC marine reverse gear, propelling the vessel through a single 4-bladed bronze propeller. This engine was rebuilt in 2019 and features advanced cooling and alarm systems for optimal performance. Additionally, a 40KW ISUSU diesel generator provides auxiliary power. The fishing capabilities of the MISS IVY include a state-of-the-art two-drum DOUGLAS trawl winch, with a separate try-net winch powered by a 15HP electric motor.
