SPELLBOUND has predominantly navigated the stunning blue waters of the Bahamas. This vessel boasts a two-cabin layout, each with ensuite heads and walk-in showers. Following a lightning strike in 2015, she received new standing rigging, updated Raymarine navigation and control systems, and most motors and pumps were replaced. Additionally, the boat underwent thorough inspections, barrier coating, and bottom coating below the waterline. Upgrades included a new prop shaft with cutlass bearing and PSS shaft seal, along with repairs to the 4-bladed prop. The Raymarine Depth/Speed/Temperature through-hull sensor was also replaced. To cater to the needs of off-grid cruising sailors, several electrical system enhancements were made, including two solar panels mounted on the arch feeding into an MPPT solar controller. A high-output Balmar alternator with an external voltage regulator ensures quick battery charging on cloudy days. A 2000-watt Xantrax inverter/battery charger provides 120 VAC to onboard outlets. Although the Fisher-Panda generator under the forward berth is currently inoperable, it was never replaced during our time aboard, as we primarily anchored or moored without needing it. SPELLBOUND has been meticulously maintained, with ongoing repairs, replacements, and upgrades to various systems and components. The sale includes many spare parts, such as a starter, alternator, macerator pump, engine water pump, filters, and pump impellers. An additional 15-gallon water tank with a level transmitter is included but not installed, as the space was converted into a wine cellar. Ready for cruising with just a few personal items added, she also comes with a berth in a highly desirable hurricane hole and upscale marina in Ft. Pierce, Florida, which can be transferred to the new owners!
