Its full-length keel and transom-hung rudder provide exceptional stability and self-righting capabilities in rough weather, while its 23,300 lbs displacement and 10,500 lbs internal lead ballast enhance tracking and performance. Despite its robust build, the 36 delivers impressive sailing performance, and its cutter rig offers multiple sail plan options. Recent mechanical upgrades include a new Hearth Transmission, heat exchanger service, and new engine hoses and filters. The rigging and sailing equipment have also been updated with new sheets, a custom spruce wood tiller, a Monitor Wind Vane, and a custom Jordan Series Drogue. For navigation, the boat is equipped with dual AGM batteries, a Xantrex charger, a Pelagic Heavy Tiller Pilot, solar panels, and a suite of Simrad electronics. The sail inventory includes a North main, Quantum yankee, and a Lidgard spinnaker, among others.
