Introducing the stunning 2005 BENETEAU OCEANIS 523 Clipper, an exceptional sailing yacht that offers an expansive layout and is ready for immediate adventures. This luxurious vessel, affectionately named 'Carina,' is meticulously outfitted and is now available for discerning enthusiasts of the 523 model. As of January 9, 2025, Carina has made her stay in Shelter Bay Marina, Cristobal, Panama, where she will undergo various maintenance upgrades including fresh bottom paint, new cutlass bearings, and a service on the Gori propeller, showcasing the dedicated care from her owner. This is an incredible chance to incorporate Carina into your sailing plans! Recent upgrades include a complete replacement of standing rigging with top-quality materials, a new storm staysail, and a refurbished Code Zero sail. Additionally, a brand-new mainsail and heavy-duty staysail were added in November 2023, along with a new Raymarine autopilot and MFD system, two solar panels, and upgraded refrigeration units. Carina's Yanmar engine has undergone a thorough overhaul, and she boasts a complete bottom job with a professional paint job. The vessel comes equipped with a new watermaker, generator, and custom-designed davits. A 3.4m Highfield Classic Dinghy with a new 15 HP Honda outboard is also included. Whether you seek to entertain family and friends or live aboard, Carina's original layout features a spacious salon with elegant cabinetry, a fully-equipped galley with dual refrigerators, and a beautifully decorated owner’s stateroom with ensuite facilities. Guests will enjoy two double berths with A/C and private heads, plus a twin berth crew cabin. Carina’s sailing features include a majestic battened mainsail with lazy bag and multiple reefs, a furling gennaker, and electric winches, ensuring performance up to 11 knots. With a front bow-thruster, hydraulic gangway, and a folding Gori propeller, she is ideal for coastal cruising. 'Bristol' in condition, Carina has successfully completed blue water voyages, including a passage from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.
