The new Tuono V4 100 Factory boasts the most advanced electronic semi-active suspension system on the market, with the Öhlins system offering performance and setting possibilities which guarantee an exhilarating ride whether on the road or track.

The Tuono, a naked bike continuously celebrated as a category best motorcycle in the USA, combines performance derived from the race-specification RSV4, offers a complete package to tackle the 156 corners of Pikes Peak. On June 30th, Aprilia will Race to the Clouds in a single timed attempt. The 4,720 foot climb up the mountain, arriving at an elevation of 14,115 feet, where the conditions of machine, rider, and terrain can change and be tested on any given day, hour, or turn remains one of the most celebrated events in motorcycling, and the only of its kind in the United States.

• Engine and riding: Unrivalled performance

The Tuono V4 1100 Factory is powered by a powerful and reliable 65° 4-cylinder engine with unique characteristics and compact dimensions which deliver superb weight centralisation.

The Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system represents the ultimate frontier in semi-active suspension from the Swedish manufacturer and on the new Tuono Factory it comes with OBTi interface for even more intuitive operation.

The event-based system uses an integrated knowledge algorithm which intuitively optimises bike behaviour based on settings selected by the driver. The Smart EC 2.0 system with OBTi allows you to visualise and manage all functions by means of the colour 4.3-inch TFT dashboard.

You can select from six Riding modes with the three Active ones managing suspension behaviour via the Smart EC system and the three manual modes allowing you to set the suspensions by means of a static functionality. All six Riding modes are themselves customisable thanks to a submenu which offers further options to modify the various parameters at the touch of a finger, to ensure exceptional precision and ease of use.

The Tuono V4 1100 Factory comes with Aprilia Performance Ride Control, the advanced bike control system developed through Aprilia’s Superbike racing experience.

The design of the Tuono V4 1100 Factory packs a punch, from its red rims to its magnificent tail fairing, derived from its sister RSV4 and two-up approved. Add to this the distinctive “three eyes” of the fairing, the symbol of Noale’s riders, together with the brand new Superpole graphics in a striking combination of red and black and it’s clear that this is a bike with an unadulterated Racing and anti-conformist soul.
