X-Yachts Xc 35 2015

The Xc-35 was honored as Boat of the Year 2015 in the 31-40ft category by Sail Magazine and was also a nominee for the European Yacht of the Year 2015 Award in the Luxury Cruiser category. This compact vessel embodies the same quality and performance traits of its larger X-Cruising counterparts, striking an ideal balance between cruising comfort and sailing performance. Designed for blue-water adventures, the Xc-35 is equipped for comfort while also boasting a racing lineage. The interior features two double cabins, one forward and one aft, with additional salon settees for overnight guests. The aft cabin is positioned to port, with the galley located forward. The head with shower is opposite the galley, while the navigation station is just ahead. The salon includes a port-side settee with a folding dining table at the center and an additional settee to starboard. A Vee berth is situated at the bow, complemented by hanging lockers on both sides. The galley is equipped with a double stainless steel sink, a top-loading fridge, and a gimballed stainless steel stove and oven. The cockpit features two long benches along with a teak table, and both the cockpit sole and benches are laid with teak. Twin helm pedestals ensure easy access along the centerline, with helmsman benches located behind the wheels for convenient movement to the fold-down swim platform. The main and jib winches are conveniently placed on the coaming ahead of the helms, with halyard winches and jammers on the house top. A full dodger and windshield provide protection for the companionway and cockpit. The boat is equipped with Raymarine electronics, including a chart plotter, VHF radio, i70 sailing instruments for speed/log, depth, wind, as well as an autopilot and AIS700 transceiver. A radar and AIS were installed in 2021, with a radar post on the starboard stern rail featuring a hoist for the outboard motor. Additional equipment includes an Espar heating system, stainless steel anchor sprit, electric anchor windlass, and a serviced Switlik MOM 8 (12/2025). The sails include a North mainsail and furling jib from 2022, both in Norlam White, along with a mainsail cover from 2025. All running rigging was replaced in 2020 with Euro Endura Braid or Dyneema Single Braid. The boat has been stored indoors with the mast down every winter since its launch, receiving full winter maintenance. The bottom is cleaned weekly by a diver while in the water and is maintained and repainted each winter. Recent upgrades include a new fuel gauge and sensors (2024) and new head plumbing (2024). Safety equipment includes a Mantus marine anchor bridle, an extra fluke anchor (Delta mounted on windlass), jack lines for two adults (with spinlock safety line cutter), three child harnesses, five tethers, new spring 2025 flares, a heaving line, and a LifeSling2 midships mooring cleat.
