Skidbladnir is a remarkable 57-foot metal commercial vessel crafted at the historic Stord Verft Norwegian Shipyard. This boat boasts three cabins, a well-equipped galley, and a cozy mess area, along with an upper helm station for superior navigation. It features ample storage both aft and forward, and is equipped with a functional hydraulic windlass and an aft winch. Launched in 1960, Skidbladnir first served as a Norwegian rescue ship before transitioning to the Swedish rescue fleet until 1998, during which she received a repower to her current Volvo Penta TAMD121D engine in 1988. She entered private ownership at that time and made her way to St. Paul, Minnesota in 2000, eventually settling in Palatka, Florida, where she is now moored in East Palatka on the scenic St. Johns River.
