Introducing the Valiant 39, Mangata—a meticulously maintained and upgraded vessel with a history of excellent ownership. Designed by Robert Perry, the Valiant 39 is built for blue-water adventures, offering confidence to sailors in any condition. Mangata is fully outfitted for cruising, featuring: a new Yanmar 30HP Diesel engine with less than 80 hours, a comprehensive Simrad Navigation Suite including a multi-function chart plotter, radar, and autopilot, and new standing rigging inspected by PT Rigging in 2020. Recent upgrades include a hard dodger and bimini (2023) and a complete cockpit enclosure. The vessel is also equipped with a Victron electrical system paired with a solar setup (new in 2021), an Achilles dinghy with a 5HP Honda 4-stroke outboard, and five new carbon foam Firefly batteries (2020). Additional features include a Sea Freeze refrigerator/freezer, a new 3-burner LPG stove and oven (2020), 300 feet of new 5/16” HT anchor chain (2022), a rebuilt Edison pedestal (2021), and a Flexofold propeller (2018). For cruising, it comes with a Monitor windvane (2008), a new lower unit (2025), lazy jacks (2020), a storm tri-sail track (2020), an EPIRB (2020), a life raft, and lightly used scuba gear (2020), plus a sextant and solar system (2021). The last bottom paint was completed in 2024, with a new cutlass bearing and engine service scheduled for 2026.
