Ultra Lite tenders are expertly crafted to serve as the ideal yacht tender for a variety of vessels, including trawlers, yachts, sailboats, catamarans, and sportfishing boats. These tenders offer a premium alternative to inflatable boats, addressing the needs of those who seek a rigid craft over typical flats boats or skiffs. We collaborated with Ocean 5 Naval Architects to develop two initial models: a 3-meter (10 ft) boat and a 3.8-meter (12.5 ft) boat. With dimensions and weight comparable to standard RIB specifications, these boats are designed for exceptional stability, a smooth ride, and impressive load-carrying capacity. They feature recessed motor mounting wells that enhance flotation at the stern while keeping the motor safely away from the mother ship. The generous gunnels and flat foredeck ensure easy access from docks and provide a comfortable ride. Our CAD designs were sent to a tooling manufacturer that utilized advanced five-axis milling machines to create female molds. The boats are constructed using cutting-edge vacuum resin infusion methods, resulting in a lightweight yet robust construction. Additionally, we designed a custom, soft, and wide rub rail to protect the mother ship from dings and abrasions. All boats are proudly manufactured in Stuart, FL, USA.
