Inspired by the beloved design, BABE, a 30' wooden sloop crafted in 1935 for Commodore Matheson for the Miami-Bermuda race, these boats have a proven track record of success on the water. With a plumb bow, generous sail plan, and short stern overhang, BABE excelled in races. This design was the last project that Olin Stephens worked on before his passing in 2008, embodying his vision of simplicity, affordability, and a passion for sailing performance.
