Uhambo is a meticulously maintained, one-owner custom Fast 42 performance cruiser/racer that seamlessly blends speed and comfort. With a spacious varnished cherry interior featuring two staterooms and one head, this yacht is perfect for both competitive racing and leisurely cruising. Launched in 2003, she is fully equipped and ready for her next adventure. Known for her impressive speed and excellent performance in varied conditions, Uhambo was upgraded in 2019 with a new Offshore Spars high modulus carbon fiber mast and rod standing rigging. Additional enhancements include a carbon sprit, Jaffe bearings, and a Larry Tuttle carbon fiber rudder. In optimal conditions, she can reach exhilarating speeds of up to 24 knots. Her upgraded steering system and deep rudder allow her to navigate high winds with ease, effortlessly surfing downwind at over 20 knots (check out the video!). While motoring, her cruising speed is a steady 8 knots.
