The Sea Ray 470 features a modified-V hull design with cored hull sides and prop pockets for optimal shaft angles. Unlike typical sedan layouts, this two-stateroom model places the galley at the rear of the salon, with the dinette elevated at the front, just two steps up. Below deck, you'll find a luxurious full-beam master stateroom located amidships and a VIP guest stateroom at the bow, both equipped with queen island beds and flat-screen TVs. The flybridge, accessible via wide steps with a protective cover, offers a helm at the rear and lounge seating at the front. Standard features include a fiberglass hardtop and an extended swim platform. The boat has undergone several upgrades, including: an interior refresh by the previous owner in 2015, installation of a Yacht Controller with joystick and dual-channel remote in 2016, and updated bridge stairs and seating with a Sea Deck teak pattern. In 2021, the bridge enclosure, cockpit enclosure, and bow cushions were replaced. The yacht's exterior and bottom are professionally cleaned monthly, with polishing twice a year. A general service was completed in early 2023, which included fluid replacements in the engines, turbos, and generator, as well as preventative replacement of all raw water hose clamps and the starboard shaft seal. The yacht was hauled out in 2022 for bottom painting, replacement of zincs, and engine raw water scoops. Upgraded electronics include dual Raymarine 3D Real Vision transducers, a Peplink router for connected yacht functionality, Wi-Fi/cellular antenna, and AT&T SIM. Smart TVs have been added in the salon and both staterooms for HDTV and streaming capabilities. The navigation suite boasts a Ray Marine 22" Axiom XL plotter, Lighthouse 4.1, Ray Marine Cyclone Radar, RVX 1000 Real Vision 3D sonar, EV 200 Power Evolution AutoPilot with EV-1 Sensor core, augmented reality support, and a modular dual-station VHF radio with AIS. Additionally, the yacht is equipped with an Isotherm Cruise stainless steel 195 Marine refrigerator/freezer, Dometic air conditioners for the bridge, salon, VIP, and master staterooms, and a new fresh water pump with a bladder tank.
