This boat represents a significant piece of Carolina boat building heritage, being Ricky Scarborough's hull #2 and the first of his designs to feature a diesel engine. Refurbished in 2008 by the renowned Carolina boat builder, Donnie Caison, this wooden hull, glassed over, surpasses the quality of many contemporary boats in its category. Recent upgrades include new injectors, an exhaust elbow, a raw water pump and intake pipe, steering system, fuel tank (replaced on 12/23), shaft seal (replaced on 24), running light, belt, and tensioner. The heat exchanger and gear cooler have also been serviced recently (10/25), and a professional detail was completed (3/25). Known for its exceptional ride quality, it's no wonder they say, 'Nothing rides like a Ricky.' This is the only one available on the market. Features a 2008 Cummins 6BT engine with 5100 hours, Simrad NSS9 Evo3, Simrad Autopilot, two ICOM IC-M412 VHF radios, a Fusion MS-RA55 sound system with an amplifier and two speakers, a Cummins Instrument Panel, Bennett Marine Trim Tabs, and Morse Control. The boat also boasts a mahogany toe rail with a stainless steel rub strip, a molded fiberglass center helm console with an acrylic windscreen, a custom leaning post with a 50-gallon livewell and a removable backrest, and side and front access doors to the engine room. Additionally, it features a welded aluminum frame T-top with a vinyl canopy, five rocket launcher rod holders, ten gunnel flush-mounted rod holders, two transom flush-mounted rod holders, two leaning post flush-mounted rod holders, Rupp Top Gun outriggers, two Rule 12V automatic bilge pumps, a 30amp battery charger, and two batteries with a selector switch.
