Presenting a remarkable piece of Carolina boat-building heritage: Ricky Scarborough's hull #2, the first of his builds to feature a diesel engine. This vessel was expertly renovated in 2008-09 by the renowned boat builder Donnie Caison. The wooden hull, fiberglassed for durability, surpasses many modern boats in its category. Upgrades include new injectors, exhaust elbow, raw water pump, intake pipe, steering system, fuel tank (replaced in December 2023), shaft seal (replaced in 2024), running light, belt, and tensioner. The heat exchanger and gear cooler have also been serviced recently (October 2025). A professional detailing was completed in March 2025. It's no wonder they say "Nothing rides like a Ricky." This is the only one available on the market. Features include a 2009 Cummins 6BT engine with 5100 hours, Simrad NSS9 Evo3, Simrad Autopilot, two ICOM IC-M412 VHF radios, Fusion MS-RA55 audio system with amplifier and four speakers, Cummins instrument panel, Bennett Marine trim tabs, Morse control, Danforth anchor with chain and nylon rode, mahogany toe rail with stainless steel rub strip, molded fiberglass center helm console with acrylic windscreen, custom leaning post with a 50-gallon livewell, removable backrest, side and front access door to the engine room, welded aluminum frame T-top with vinyl canopy, five rocket launcher rod holders on the T-top, fourteen flush mount rod holders, Rupp Top Gun outriggers, two Rule 12V automatic bilge pumps, a 30amp battery charger, and two batteries with a selector switch.
