Launched in 2021 by Sanlorenzo, GATSBY is a stunning 96-foot SL96A motor yacht that highlights the builder's innovative asymmetric design, offering enhanced main-deck space, abundant natural light, and seamless connections between the salon, owner areas, and the water. The asymmetrical concept was pioneered by Chris Bangle, while Bernardo Zuccon of Zuccon International Project crafted the exterior and layout, with naval architecture by Sanlorenzo's in-house team. This model proudly won the Best Layout (14–30 m) award at the 2020 World Yachts Trophies. During commissioning, GATSBY's original Laura Sessa Romboli interior was upgraded to a bespoke design by Marty Lowe Design Inc. Perfectly equipped for adventures in South Florida and the Bahamas, she features aft-deck dining, a foredeck lounge with sunpads, a spacious flybridge complete with a hardtop and wet bar, a hydraulic swim platform, and a garage. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M86 engines, GATSBY cruises at around 22 knots, achieving a top speed of approximately 28 knots. Additional amenities include CMC zero-speed stabilizers, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, tropical air conditioning, a watermaker, Garmin electronics, and Starlink/Pepwave connectivity, along with fresh bottom paint and exterior upholstery completed in 2023.
