The Sea Star, designed by Roger Hill, is a remarkable 17.5m semi-displacement powercat that is perfectly suited for cruising the East Coast of the USA, whether for day trips or longer passages. This vessel exemplifies perfection in style, finish, and engineering, meeting our high standards. The main deck is located on the tunnel roof, featuring an open-plan layout that includes the helm, galley, and dinette areas. The forward helm is positioned to port, accompanied by a spacious L-shaped settee. The owners prioritized a large galley equipped with all the comforts of home, situated opposite a chic oatmeal-colored macro suede U-shaped dinette that contrasts beautifully with the dark cherry paneling. Access to the hulls is via a circular staircase between the raised pilot house and rear galley. The port hull contains a fully equipped laundry at the aft, with the master stateroom and ensuite located at the front. The generous interior space of the hulls provides a classic powercat accommodation layout, featuring a large double berth positioned athwartships on top of the tunnel. The starboard hull offers guest accommodations with two cabins: an aft cabin with a double berth that spans the entire width of the hull, sharing a bathroom, and a forward cabin that cleverly utilizes space with a double bed over the tunnel and an additional single upper bunk. A tender and Oceanlift davit crane are located at the rear. Powered by twin Cummins C450 engines with conventional drives, the Sea Star boasts a top speed of 24 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 18-20 knots.
