Septic System and Water Management: The entire septic system has been removed, making way for modern Raritan toilets or similar alternatives. The midship containment system was leaking and has been replaced, alongside the outdated 'macerators' which were also removed. A new midship tank, complete with most fittings, is available on the boat for installation. The tank previously located under the main stateroom bed has been removed; if additional 'black water storage' is desired, a replacement may be necessary. There is a cutout in the companionway floor that will require an access door, as the original was installed in a hard-to-reach location. Thru-Hull Fittings and Valves: All old valves have been taken out, and the hull has been sealed with expanding foam until new valves can be installed while the boat is on the hard. All removed valves are stored in a blue tote beneath the boat. Bridge and Helm: Equipped with engines 671 TI's. Generator and AC Units: The salon, galley, and stateroom feature two air conditioning units. New items have been added to the galley, while original components are functioning well. Railing and Pulpit: The pulpit's anchor motor operates smoothly with a simple footswitch on the pulpit deck for easy operation. Cockpit and Outriggers: Well-equipped for fishing. Transom and Salon: The Ocean 48 Super Sport has garnered acclaim, with over 400 units built since its inception by Jack Leek in 1977.
