It was meticulously stored in a high and dry facility until being relocated to Sarasota in early 2024, where it has served as a 6-passenger dive boat. True to Newton's reputation, this vessel is built to A.B.S. specifications using top-quality materials, ensuring strength, reliability, and years of service. The included trailer has seen very little use. Before the original owner sold the boat, it was returned to Newton for detailing and maintenance, including necessary painting. The bottom paint is fresh with about 9 months of use. In 2025, the new owners upgraded the electronics, installing 12" and 9" Ray Marine MFDs, a Quantum 18" Q24C Radar, and a new EPIRB. They also provided 9 Adult and 2 Youth Offshore Lifejackets along with a new throw ring. Additionally, the prop was reworked in 2025. The well-regarded Newton custom tank racks can securely hold 20 cylinders on aluminum seats with storage underneath. The thoughtfully designed deck and open transom facilitate easy deployment and retrieval of divers, while the quality ladder extends comfortably into the water for easy exits. The hull is engineered for excellent maneuverability with a shallow draft of just 2'6" when loaded. Powered by a single Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel engine, it operates economically at about 14 gallons per hour. This boat would be perfect for technical or specialty diving as a 6-passenger craft, or it can comfortably accommodate up to 12 passengers for diving adventures in the Caribbean.
