SOUTHERN CROSS is an exceptional and distinctive 34z, being one of the final units produced (hull #62 of 65). This boat incorporates numerous innovations developed during the 34z production run, thanks to the collaboration of owners, MJM founders, the designer, and the talented craftsmen at Boston Boatworks. Launched in June 2008, SOUTHERN CROSS has navigated the beautiful waters and inlets of Chesapeake Bay from her secure, covered boathouse. In July 2024, she made her way to the south shore of Lake Erie when the current owner acquired her from the original owners, who opted for a 43z. After spending a winter along Florida's Gulf Coast, she was given a stunning new Metallic Blue paint job in April 2025, which, along with her elegant solid teak transom, makes her a showstopper in every harbor she visits. Now, SOUTHERN CROSS is on the lookout for her next caretaker, as the current owner has recently upgraded to a 50z.
