Introducing the 1986 LM 32 Pilot House, a gem that has been kept in fresh water since 1988 and is now available from its second owner. This vessel boasts new sails installed in 2023 and a brand-new enclosed bimini canvas with isinglass added in 2022. The Freudian Sloop design makes it an excellent pilothouse for navigating the diverse conditions of the Great Lakes or blue waters. Currently in storage, it will be ready to launch for the 2026 season. The LM 32 features all the signature elements of the LM line, including its unique canoe stern and spacious pilothouse, and is essentially a larger iteration of its smaller counterparts. Measuring 32 feet in length with a waterline of 27 feet 10 inches, it has a beam of 10 feet 8 inches and a draft of 4 feet 11 inches (or 4 feet 1 inch for the bilge keel variant). With a displacement of 12,000 pounds and 4,400 pounds of ballast, it offers stability and strength. Ample storage is available with lockers beneath each bench seat and a large compartment under the cockpit sole. The cockpit features adequately sized drains, designed to handle boarding seas, though caution is advised as there is no bridgedeck between the cockpit and pilothouse. At the front of the cockpit, double sliding doors lead into the pilothouse. On the starboard side, the steering station includes a raised captain's seat and an additional fold-up seat for a second helmsman. The wood steering wheel is positioned in front of the captain, with engine controls, the electrical panel, and sailing instruments all easily accessible.
