Introducing SANTOSHA, a 2010 Leopard 46, a testament to the enduring excellence of the Robertson & Caine / Morelli & Melvin design, renowned among cruising catamarans. This vessel is crafted as a true offshore cruising platform, boasting sleek waterline entries, ample bridge-deck clearance, and a powerful fractional sail plan. The raised, protected helm allows the skipper to stay connected to the cockpit while enjoying exceptional visibility. Unlike many newer models that prioritize interior space, the Leopard 46 maintains a robust sailing character. It combines the comfort and spaciousness expected of a contemporary 46-foot catamaran with the proportions and sea performance appreciated by long-distance cruisers and liveaboards. SANTOSHA stands out with her 2023 in-boom electric furling conversion, a new Quantum Leisure Boom mainsail, electric winch upgrade, refreshed standing rigging, solar charging system, watermaker, Raymarine electronics package, and a complete cockpit enclosure. These enhancements not only boost safety but also streamline handling, making her ideal for couples or short-handed crews. With a four-cabin, three-head layout—including a converted utility space—an open galley, expansive saloon, spacious protected cockpit, twin Yanmar diesels, a Northern Lights generator, and an AB tender with an electric outboard, SANTOSHA is perfectly equipped for cruising the Chesapeake, exploring the Bahamas, making Caribbean passages, and enjoying extended time at sea.
