Leopard 42 2001

SELLER REMARKS: We purchased Miocene in July 2022 and enjoyed a year in the Chesapeake. In the summer of 2023, we completed a significant refit, installing lithium batteries, solar panels, replacing most underwater thru hulls (9 out of 12), updating the hatch acrylic, and undertaking various additional projects. In October, we set sail south, navigating the Caribbean island chain and ultimately arriving in Trinidad for the 2024 hurricane season. The following winter, we ventured west to the ABCs, Colombia, and Panama, before heading up to Guatemala. Starting in December 2025, we sailed from Guatemala to the Bahamas and then made our way to Annapolis, where the boat is currently docked. BUILDERS REMARKS: The Leopard 42 has established itself as a classic in the catamaran world since its launch in 2001. These vessels have confidently sailed the seven seas and beyond, known for their ease of handling. Key attributes of Leopard catamarans include simple yet reliable systems and low maintenance requirements, with the Robertson and Caine construction method ensuring robust durability.
