SELLER REMARKS: We acquired Miocene in July 2022 and enjoyed it in the Chesapeake for a year. In the summer of 2023, we undertook a comprehensive refit, upgrading with lithium batteries, solar panels, replacing most of the underwater thru hulls (9 out of 12), hatch acrylics, and various other improvements. We then set sail south in October, navigating the Caribbean island chain and arriving in Trinidad for the 2024 hurricane season. The following winter, we ventured west to the ABCs, Colombia, and Panama, eventually making our way up to Guatemala. Starting December 2025, we journeyed from Guatemala to the Bahamas and then up to Annapolis, where the boat is currently located. BUILDERS REMARKS: Since its launch in 2001, the Leopard 42 has established itself as a classic in the catamaran community. These vessels have confidently sailed the seven seas and beyond, featuring user-friendly handling. With simple yet dependable systems and minimal maintenance requirements, Leopard catamarans embody reliability, while the Robertson and Caine construction method guarantees robust durability.
