MISCHIEF is a contemporary and elegant yacht designed for ocean crossings and exceptional sailing performance. Its open deck layout fosters seamless communication between the owner and guests, while the spacious and tastefully designed interior ensures comfort. The hull and deck are crafted from composite materials, including glass fiber, epoxy resins, and foam coring, built on a semi-custom basis. Solid teak is used for the side decks, foredeck, cockpit sole, and benches, all glued to eliminate mechanical fastenings. Inside, lightweight composite panels are elegantly finished with varnished birch veneer. The yacht features custom bimini, dodger, and helmsman's bimini for ample shade and protection from the elements. Recent updates, completed in June 2022 at Front Street Shipyard, include a new Jim Taylor-designed keel with a reduced draft of 8'6", new FutureFibers ECthree rigging, and a stripped and painted mast, boom, and spinnaker pole. Additional enhancements include a fresh Awlgrip 2000 finish on the hull and cove stripes, a new fuel manifold, a Maretron display for fuel monitoring, a new companionway glass slider, and Sunbrella canvas for various covers and cushions. The yacht has also seen upgrades such as new reading lights and fans in the cabins, replaced AIS antenna, painted cockpit table, and added grabrails. Looking ahead, plans for 2024 and 2025 include the installation of a new seawater watermaker, battery charger, and solar panels, along with a complete overhaul of various systems to ensure MISCHIEF remains in peak condition.
