Hatteras 36 Sport Fisherman 1963

Introducing a 1963 34 Hatteras, powered by a 1997 Cummins 6BTA engine with 330hp and only 150 hours of use, primarily from freshwater excursions on Lake Murray in Irmo, SC. This vessel has undergone significant upgrades, including the installation of new Cummins 6BTA diesel motors and a generator around the year 2000. The interior has been modernized, featuring the removal of the lower helm, a glassed front windshield, and new salon side windows. After its time on Lake Murray, the hardtop and flybridge were removed and transported to Detyens Boat Works in Goose Creek for maintenance. The hull was sanded and treated with two coats of Sea Hawk 1277 Bottom Paint Primer followed by two coats of Sea Hawk AF 33 Antifouling Paint. Additional updates include a new transducer, reconditioned wheels, fresh zincs, new dripless shaft seals, and a new bilge pump with a float switch. The hull and flybridge were refreshed with three coats of Awlgrip G8089 Cloud White paint. After reassembling the flybridge and hardtop, the boat was taken to Ripley Light Marina for the summer. It has successfully navigated the ICW from Charleston, SC to Norfolk, VA, and is currently stored on the hard in Norfolk.
