Boat Description
Introducing the 1981 Gulfstar 44 MK II Center Cockpit, a remarkable bluewater cruiser designed for comfort and performance. This vessel excels in rough seas, providing a smooth ride and impressive sailing capabilities that often exceed expectations for her age. With a powerful genoa, she's capable of covering 180 miles in a day under favorable winds.
The interior is designed for comfort, featuring a spacious aft berth with an ensuite head and separate shower, as well as a V-berth with its own wet head. The port settee easily converts into a double berth, making it ideal for taller sailors with 6'4" headroom throughout (except in the walkthrough). The generous cockpit offers ample space for relaxation and enjoying sundowners.
Renowned sailor John Kretschmer praises this model for its affordability and comfort, while yacht reviewer Richard Jordan calls it one of the best designs ever.
