Introducing the 1987 Frers 30, expertly crafted by Carrol Marine and designed by the renowned German Frers. Recent upgrades and services include: a Competition Composites rudder with a new bearing, new chain plates and stemhead fitting, and new standing rigging. The boat has also undergone a bottom job with Petit Vivid paint (scheduled for 10/2024), and the keel bolts were removed, inspected, and re-torqued to specifications. The deck has been stripped of all hardware and received fresh paint, while the topside was thoroughly inspected for moisture and re-cored where necessary. The topside paint has been renewed with Epifanes two-part varnish, applied in eight coats. Additional enhancements include a Flex-a-Fold 2-blade prop, new shaft, cutlas bearings, stuffing box, and coupler. Upgrades also feature a new Sail Technologies radial main with Tides Track, a new fuel tank, and a new battery charger. Motor mounts have been replaced, and the stainless exhaust mixer has been serviced. The winches have been disassembled, cleaned, and greased, and LED lights have been installed throughout the cabin and for running lights. A new boom cover, Standard Horizon VHF, and new portlights, portholes, and hatch have also been added. All systems have been fine-tuned, and the boat actively participated in the local racing season for 2024-2025. This dream boat came on the market and was too good to pass up.
