Formula 400 Super Sport 2001

Discover the newly arrived 2001 Formula 400 Super Sport, a rare freshwater gem with optional 502 motors that have low hours. This boat has undergone multiple recent upgrades and the motivated seller is open to reasonable offers. The Formula 400 Super Sport stands out in the high-performance luxury sportboat market, traditionally dominated by expensive European brands. With its long and narrow design, it features Formula’s innovative 'Fas3Tech' hull, a double-stepped deep-V configuration that significantly reduces water resistance. This results in a faster, more stable ride that maintains optimal angles without constant drive adjustments. Elegantly designed, the Super Sport is an ideal day boat boasting ample cockpit space and a spacious interior. The owner's stateroom is located at the aft, complemented by a luxurious Ultraleather wraparound lounge at the front and four overhead translucent hatches that brighten the salon. On deck, the doublewide helm seat conveniently folds away for stand-up driving, and a walk-through windshield leads to a generous nonskid area at the bow. Highlights include a recessed anchor storage compartment, a hinged locker at the transom, and excellent engine access. Powered by twin 425hp gas sterndrives, it can reach speeds close to 45 knots, while the Volvo 370hp diesel I/Os can achieve speeds of nearly 40 knots.
