Boat Description

The story of Feeling Yachts dates back to 1912 when the Kirié shipyard, founded by the Kirié family, began its journey in a modest garage on Rue de la Forêt in Sables d'Olonne. Initially focused on crafting small sailing boats, the shipyard shifted towards speedboats in the 1950s and expanded in the late '60s, relocating to Château d'Olonne. Pioneering the use of polyester, Kirié launched the 'Feeling' range of habitable power cruise ships in the early '80s. Notably, the 13.5m Feeling clinched victory in the Route du Rhum standard boat category in 1986, while the 10.9m Feeling was awarded 'Boat of the Year' in 1987. In 2000, Alliaura Marine acquired the Kirié shipyard, and by 2010, Feeling became part of the Privilège Marine Groupe. Although production of Feeling yachts has ceased, Privilège is renowned for its catamarans. The Feeling 546, designed by Ron Holland and Andrew Winch, is a fast sea-going cutter made of fiberglass. Its superior construction, ample freshwater and fuel tanks, efficient electricity generation, and generous living and storage space make it an exceptional choice for year-round living and global sailing. The spacious cockpit features twin steering stations, ensuring comfort whether at anchor or on the move. Our listing, TENACIOUS, is the final 546 built and was originally intended for the personal use of the Kirié Shipyard's owner. Now owned by its third caretaker, significant upgrades have been made under his stewardship, as detailed in the listing. Ready to embark on a new chapter, he has decided to part ways with the boat that has been his cherished home and safe haven for many years. TENACIOUS is a robust vessel designed for safe sea voyages, showcasing impressive fit and finish with a rugged construction throughout. It promises to take you wherever your adventures lead, all at an accessible price point for a boat of its size. Whether docked or sailing, she offers a roomy living space and awaits the next guardians of their dreams. Don’t miss your chance—call today to schedule a viewing before she's gone!
