This 2001 Contest 48 CS, designed by Dick Zaal and expertly crafted by Conyplex in Medemblik, Netherlands, boasts a CE Category A certification for ocean voyages. With its elegant deck saloon design, Alani features a classic teak interior, three cozy cabins, and two heads each equipped with its own shower stall, accommodating up to six guests plus one in the saloon. Acquired by her current owners in late 2020, Alani underwent a comprehensive refit in 2021, with continuous upgrades since then. She now includes a new arch with 1,260 W of solar power, a Victron lithium house battery bank, new standing rigging, a Molenaar mainsail and genoa, and Raymarine Quantum 2 doppler radar. A new tender and outboard were also added.
