The engine gauges have been refurbished, and all chrome hardware has been re-chromed. The engine has been bored and rebuilt with new pistons, along with a new raw water pump, while the gas tank has been removed and expertly reconditioned. It comes with a tandem bunk trailer, ensuring it's a head-turner wherever you dock. This classic boat has a rich history: it was initially purchased by a family in Sunbury, PA, and spent most of its time at Harvey's Lake. In 1956, it was sold to another Sunbury family, who returned it to the original owners after a year. The first family reacquired it in 1957, and it changed hands again in 1997 when it was sold to the grandson of the original owners. The current owner purchased it in 2008, transporting it to Clayton, NY for restoration in 2009. During the restoration, the boat's bottom was sealed, and it was refinished both inside and out, including a varnish finish on the interior and deck. The engine and gas tank were removed, with the tank being reworked by Melcot Industries and the engine serviced by Roger at Riveredge Marina in Alexandria Bay, NY. The cylinders were bored, new pistons installed, and the transmission was overhauled. All chrome components were polished by Labrandis in Harrisburg, and the gauges were fully refurbished. From 2012 to 2023, this beauty was predominantly used on the St. Lawrence River, and in 2023, a new water pump was installed by French Creek Marina.
