The Celtic 40, formerly known as the Admiral 40, is a sturdy Bluewater catamaran designed to thrive in the toughest open ocean conditions. It combines offshore prowess with ease of handling, making it perfect for small crews while offering excellent sailing performance and a cozy living space. Key upgrades on the Celtic 40 include a revamped helm station for effortless short-handed sailing, a new davit platform, a molded bimini ceiling, redesigned heads, spacious forward and aft cabins, expanded locker storage, extended salon seating, and a wider sliding door for easy access. Built in South Africa, RONIN was sailed directly to the U.S. by Tim Duncan, the owner and designer of Celtic Yachts. Her second owners purchased her fresh from a boat show, enjoying several years of cruising the Chesapeake Bay. After being acquired by her current owner, RONIN was outfitted for Bluewater adventures and spent two years exploring the Caribbean. If you're considering Leopard catamarans, don’t overlook RONIN, which boasts similar build quality at an exceptional value. Features include solar power (2024), a tender (2021) with outboard (2023), a wind turbine (2022), lithium house batteries (2022), a watermaker, a full cockpit enclosure, and air conditioning.
