The boat is equipped with a new Fusion stereo system (June 2022) featuring interior and cockpit speakers, a new Seaward hot water heater (April 2023), and new 300AH AGM batteries (May 2022) with a Victron battery monitoring system and a new Victron DC to DC battery charger (March 2023). A 500-watt solar panel and a GoPower 1500-watt inverter complement the energy setup, while the engine service is scheduled for May 2025. This Catalina 400 has been meticulously maintained, as demonstrated by its detailed service records. The helm offers a comprehensive range of navigational data, including the new Garmin plotter, autopilot, AIS, radar, and compass, plus engine data. The twin helm layout features forward-facing seating, and the spacious cockpit is enhanced by large wraparound benches with high backs and new cushions. The canvas set comprises a high dodger/sprayhood with protective window covers, bimini, and connector. Lines are led aft, with cleats protected under the sprayhood and easy access to line bags. Oversized Lewmar 58 primary winches and Lewmar 40 secondary winches provide smooth handling. The lifelines are high for added safety during passages, and the wide weatherdecks have strategically positioned cleats and standing rigging. Up front, the large anchor locker and easy access to the windlass, along with a dedicated anchor washdown, are practical features. Both the main and genoa sails are in excellent condition, having been thoroughly checked by the owner. The reliable Westerbeke engine comes with comprehensive service records, and access to the engine is convenient, located beneath the companionway steps and behind the dresser unit in the owner's cabin. Below decks, the inviting wide saloon and U-shaped galley area immediately capture attention. The galley includes all essentials, featuring an oven and stove, front and top-loading fridge/freezer, double sink, water purification unit, and plenty of storage with numerous lockers and drawers. The saloon is tailored for entertaining, featuring a large wraparound table with a settee opposite. Ample storage includes a large hanging locker and drawers. Both owners and guests benefit from reverse cycle air conditioning below decks, and the en-suite features a separate shower stall and an electric toilet, with a large mirror on the bathroom cabinet. The new hot water heater and watermaker add further convenience. The forward V-berth cabin offers additional storage, portlights, fans, and a second en-suite head with a shower and composting toilet.
