Burger Flybridge 1982

The 23.8m (78'1) custom motor yacht 'Serenity' was crafted by Burger, featuring a luxurious exterior and engineering design by Sparkman & Stephens. Formerly known as Electra, Silver Seas, and Harvest Moon, Serenity has a rich history. The yacht endured damage during Hurricane Ian when a 9-foot storm surge caused it to roll off a concrete dock, but it remained afloat. Some components, including struts, rudders, and stabilizers, were damaged, but the vessel has been out of the water since January 2024 for repairs. During this time, a new phasor generator is being installed and the yacht has received fresh paint and varnish. Purchased in January 2022, Serenity successfully traveled from Annapolis, MD, to Sanibel, FL, after its transmissions were rebuilt. Prior to the hurricane, it was used trouble-free on the west coast of Florida. This is a fantastic chance to own a Burger motor yacht with a fully rebuilt running gear and stabilizer actuators. Key features include new hull paint and varnish in 2024. Serenity was lightly used for 7 years by the Naval Academy Sailing Foundation before being acquired by the current owner in 2021, who conducted extensive surveys and maintenance on the hull and engine. The yacht has three staterooms with ensuite heads, along with three crew quarters forward, a bow thruster, and Naiad stabilizers. The original boat deck davit was removed to add a TNT platform for a tender, which unfortunately broke off during the hurricane, but the brackets remain. The area where the tender was housed is now a secure open-air lounge with railings and a BBQ grill, enhancing the covered flybridge experience.
