The original owner and Captain collaborated closely with the shipyard to bring this custom design by Luis de Basto to life. Based in South Florida, this yacht was thoughtfully designed with a manageable draft for navigating the Bahamas, and its low-maintenance exterior allows for effortless operation with a small crew. The cockpit is tailored for offshore fishing, enhancing access for all water activities, including tender operations. Since her launch in 2017, NORTHLAND has journeyed extensively, including a remarkable passage to Norway, thanks to her impressive 4000+ mile range powered by reliable CAT engines and built to ABS A1 standards. Practicality was a key focus in her design, featuring covered walk-around side decks with entry doors on both sides—starboard leads to the salon foyer, while port provides access to the galley for the crew. Steps ascend to a Portuguese bridge, and sea stairs can be placed at either boarding gate leading to the aft deck. A hydraulic passarelle gangway facilitates easy boarding from the starboard cockpit step. The yacht boasts a well-planned accommodation with four staterooms plus crew quarters, designed for family enjoyment, with the Master suite located aft on the bridge deck. Two diesel-powered tenders are stored on the forward working deck, complementing the functional fishing cockpit.
