The Bertram 31' Express Cruiser, JOY RIDE, has undergone a complete transformation in Stuart, Florida, from 2025 to 2026. Virtually everything has been replaced except for the hull structure. She is equipped with twin 350hp Yamaha outboards featuring digital electric steering mounted on a bracket. Highlights include a Seakeeper DC gyro stabilizer, new 400-gallon fuel tanks, state-of-the-art Garmin electronics, custom Blue Water teak helm and companion chairs, an inverter system for 110V appliances, 12V cabin air-conditioning, a custom hardtop with a weather enclosure, a bow thruster, windlass, transom live well, and a refrigerated drink box—essentially everything is in like-new condition. The motors come with a five-year warranty, and the restoration was carried out by a retired boat builder experienced in refitting 31' Bertrams.
