This highly coveted work of art, designed by Peter Cole and rarely seen, is the Nantucket Island 33. Out of only 31 built, owners tend to hold on to them for extended periods and they are hardly ever listed for sale. It is one of the few center-cockpit yachts in this size and can likely fit in a 30-foot slip, as it is currently situated. The boat features a flush stern, with minimal protrusion from the bow pulpit and anchor. The published hull length is 32 feet and 3 inches, but with the addition of the bow extremities, it may measure closer to 33 feet. Its robust construction and exceptional craftsmanship would have cost over $350,000 if commissioned today. This yacht is specifically designed for ocean cruising and has been consistently maintained.
