The Vision 444ES is a custom-built catamaran, with handover taking place at the factory in Knysna, South Africa. For those opting for shipping, delivery is available at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA. This remarkable vessel excels in Performance, Safety, Styling, and Ergonomics, making it a top choice for modern catamaran enthusiasts and ensuring exceptional owner satisfaction. The standard mast height is ICW friendly at 63' 11". The Vision 444ES features a robust 24V DC electrical system powered by a Victron Lithium-ion house battery bank, which is a 400 amp system created from four single units that fit neatly under the saloon seats. The diesel propulsion engines efficiently charge the house battery bank while operating, providing 24V at 90A each (180A combined) through dedicated high-duty cycle alternators. This setup allows for AC load capabilities without draining the house bank while underway. Each engine is equipped with a 12V starter system that powers blowers for effective heat removal from the engine bays. The 24V DC house battery bank powers the entire boat except for AC loads (such as calorifiers and plug sockets) and any optional extras like ice makers, washer-dryers, water makers, air conditioning, and induction stovetops.
