The 2024 Sea Pro 172 Bay is a compact, highly nimble center console engineered to bring big-boat features and rugged construction into an easily trailerable, shallow-water package. Hull & Construction

Despite its manageable size, the 172 Bay utilizes Sea Pro’s foam-filled high-density fiberglass stringer system and a protective vinyl-ester barrier coat. The hull sides and deck boxes are completely foam-filled, resulting in a quieter ride through chop, better insulation, and positive safety flotation. With a shallow 10-inch draft and a 15-degree deadrise at the transom, it effortlessly navigates skinny water while maintaining stability at rest.

The deck is optimized for maximum fishability, offering features usually reserved for larger bay boats:
